Here is the best scripture in the bible:And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. (Rev. 11:15)Wow, Christ will be heralded into the earth in this scripture and He will come with His kingdom and with power!!! Glory!!!
:cheer:
I always had a hard time picking a favorite. I suppose this one is A favorite because it hits the closest to my calling/annointing:
1 Cor 9:25: MKJV
25 And everyone who strives for the mastery is temperate in all things. Then those truly that they may receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.
And this verse goes with my avatar for this forum. This is the 1st time I have ever used a personal avatar.

There is so much favorite scripture. I guess it would be the verse I use in my sig. It is who I am in Christ.

I am convinced these two verses alone will save those who belong to Him.
Gal 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
This too is one of my favorites, such exaltation!
Dan 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

How do these verses save someone?

It's the same as this theory...(I jokingly call it a "theory")
Mat 18:2-4 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
If one can become like something against which there is no law be it in heaven or upon earth or beneath, one would escape judgment...
Psalm 32:1
Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
2 Ne. 2: 26
And the Messiah cometh in the fulness of time, that he may redeem the children of men from the fall. And because that they are redeemed from the fall they have become free forever, knowing good from evil; to act for themselves and not to be acted upon, save it be by the punishment of the law at the great and last day, according to the commandments which God hath given.
Mosiah 3: 21
And behold, when that time cometh, none shall be found blameless before God, except it be little children, only through repentance and faith on the name of the Lord God Omnipotent.
Moroni 8:17-24
And I am filled with charity, which is everlasting love; wherefore, all children are alike unto me; wherefore, I love little children with a perfect love; and they are all alike and partakers of salvation.
For I know that God is not a partial God, neither a changeable being; but he is unchangeable from all eternity to all eternity.
Little children cannot repent; wherefore, it is awful wickedness to deny the pure mercies of God unto them, for they are all alive in him because of his mercy.
And he that saith that little children need baptism denieth the mercies of Christ, and setteth at naught the atonement of him and the power of his redemption.
Wo unto such, for they are in danger of death, hell, and an endless torment. I speak it boldly; God hath commanded me. Listen unto them and give heed, or they stand against you at the judgment-seat of Christ.
For behold that all little children are alive in Christ, and also all they that are without the law. For the power of redemption cometh on all them that have no law; wherefore, he that is not condemned, or he that is under no condemnation, cannot repent; and unto such baptism availeth nothing—
But it is mockery before God, denying the mercies of Christ, and the power of his Holy Spirit, and putting trust in dead works.
Behold, my son, this thing ought not to be; for repentance is unto them that are under condemnation and under the curse of a broken law.
And the first fruits of repentance is baptism; and baptism cometh by faith unto the fulfilling the commandments; and the fulfilling the commandments bringeth remission of sins;
And the remission of sins bringeth meekness, and lowliness of heart; and because of meekness and lowliness of heart cometh the visitation of the Holy Ghost, which Comforter filleth with hope and perfect love, which love endureth by diligence unto prayer, until the end shall come, when all the saints shall dwell with God.
Amen.

You have me totally confused  now. I suggest you stick with the bible and nothing else. It's really a good book. God is a great author. He's very knowledgeable.

Thank you dearest sister in our Lord, for having written that sentence.
It was high time that someone put it on the line.
Eveningstar has been spamming for far to long with BOM quotes.
The SDA's have shown the proper propiety and not plastered this interdenominational cyberforum with exclusive Sister White writings to prove a point. I laud the wisdom and self-control used by the guys from the Adventi churches here being represented.
The common denominator is holy Scriptures. Let's prove our faith from them and use other writings as a small light, to enhance by repetition in contempory words, what the Great Light of Inspiration has already revealed to us by God's power through the ancient prophets and apostles.

Yes, Egal, let's stick to what we all know to be truth. And that's the Holy Scriptures.

Whoa, Egal:eek:
Ye not only condemn the things of God, ye laud the things of the devil.
Ye defy the Will of God.

She's also guilty of the exact same thing I was saying the Mormons may become guilty of.
Isa 65:5 Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These [are] a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.
At least I'm honest and fair about it all. I don't let anyone get away with falsehood, be they Jew, Gentile, Mormon, SDA, whatever...if they don't "keep it real" Jesus will say "I never knew you, depart..."
But the Word of the Lord was written to be shared not kept with the "proper propriety" , hogwash!
Mat 10:25-27 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more [shall they call] them of his household?
Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
What I tell you in darkness, [that] speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, [that] preach ye upon the housetops.

I suggest that we stop this bickering and get back on topic. ES, this means you!!!;)
As I remember, we were listing our favorite bible verses.
I cannot pick just one, so will list a few.
Jeremiah 20:9, 1 Cor 4:16, All of Romans 8, Colossians 1:13-29,
and if I MUST choose only one, then Luke 15 (all of it, but especially the third story).
No I did not quote them here for you. Go look them up, its good for you.

Here's mine:
Jeremiah 9
23 This is what the LORD says:
"Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom
or the strong man boast of his strength
or the rich man boast of his riches,
24 but let him who boasts boast about this:
that he understands and knows me,
that I am the LORD , who exercises kindness,
justice and righteousness on earth,
for in these I delight,"
declares the LORD .
I've pretty much always loved this one the most!

No one is bickering. Thanks for the warning though, I'll remember not to bicker. Correcting/admonishing and rebuking is righteous.
Indeed, nothing else will restore.
I suggest to you, and others that we learn to make righteous judgment.
Jhn 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

My comment was mostly in jest (notice the wink). I just think this is a good thread and would like to see what others think.

I'm kidding, but remember:
Proverbs 10:10
He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall.
