Paul Hill is scheduled to be executed today (9/3/03) for the murder of an abortion doctor and the doctor's body guard. Here are some of Hill's statements that were printed in today's newspaper: The short answer is no, I don't feel any remorse because I think it was a good thing and instead of being shocked, more people should do what I did. I think people should act as I acted.

I didn't seek the death penalty. The state's seeking the death penalty, but I'm willing and I feel very honored that they are most likely going to kill me for what I did. I'm certainly, to be quite honest, I'm epecting a great reward in heaven for my obedience.

I believe that the Lord has used and will use what I did in a marvelous way. I'm standing for a principle. I'm willing to die for the principle. I consider it a great honor to die, possibly die for having defended innocent human beings.

What I did I believe was an inalienable right or duty. You don't have to ask the government for permission to defend your unborn child or your neighbor's unborn child. And if we want that duty to be recoginized, we have to assert it.

Paul Hill, quoted by the AP

Even though I am against abortion, I don't feel this man did the right thing. 2 wrongs don't make a right.

I think Paul Hill is one sick dude! I mean why kill the doctor in the name of saving unborn babies? That makes no sense at all! If the dude is concerned of the killing of unborn babies then why is he not concerned that he shot 2 dudes? That is so weird!

I can't believe he thinks he's going to be rewarded in heaven, man that guy should have joined the jihads of palestine, they mesh well!

But besides that is he not aware that all those females who went for abortion should be killed rather than the doctor? I mean after all the decision was made by them and not the doctor. To be an anti abortionist you should talk to the females not the doctors! Although is it true that if there was a female who was bi polar and wanted a baby the court can have made the female to get an abortion? I saw it on tv it was a film and it made me wonder the possibility if yes gosh that is awful!

Killing to end killing is flawed logic.

...a man does what is right in his own eyes and violates the law of God by murdering with demonic thinking of justifying God's will.

Sicko's, Wacko's, Goofballs will take to the news headlines in even wierder ways come the next years, certainly.

This dude got what was coming to him because of his perverted understanding of how to change what he didn't approve of according to his own perverted judgement. Oh...so very wrong.

I am figuring that we'll be getting copy-cat happenings of the same from others who will imitate this doctor-murderer.

Did you know that the fertilized human woman's egg by the man's sperm is called embryo until the heart starts beating ?

Then it is called a fetus.

So within....

* 7 days - tiny embryo implants in uterus.

* 18 days - heart begins to beat.

* 21 days - baby pumps own blood through separate closed circulatory system with own blood type.

* 28 days - eye, ear and respiratory system begin to form.

* 42 days - brain waves recorded, skeleton complete, reflexes present.

* 8 weeks - all body systems present. 9 weeks - squints, swallows, moves tongue, makes fist.

* 11 weeks - spontaneous breathing movements, has fingernails, all body systems working.

* 12 weeks - weighs one ounce.

* 16 weeks - genital organs clearly differentiated, grasps with hands, swims, kicks, turns, does somersaults, (still not felt by the mother.)

* 18 weeks - vocal cords work - baby can cry.

* 20 weeks - has hair on head, weighs one pound, 12 inches long.

Isn't human life amazing? I like what you posted, Eurogal.

So at some point that fetus probably can feel when he/she is being killed.

Eurogal, thanks for that information. I didn't realize what was actually happening at the different stages.

Everyone in the media is pointing to the two murders that the religious zealot committed, but no one in the media is pointing to the multiple killings (possibly in the hundreds or thousands) of the abortion doctor. :o
