The following story shows that there is a double standard when it comes to displaying Christian symbols compared to the symbols of other faiths. Other faiths are allowed to wear their religious symbols, while Christian symbols are prohibited. We appease other faiths while eating our own young.

Here is a story from Great Britain:Miss Eweida said last night: "I will not hide my belief in the Lord Jesus. British Airways permits Muslims to wear a headscarf, Sikhs to wear a turban and other faiths religious apparel. "Only Christians are forbidden to express their faith. I am a loyal and conscientious employee of British Airways, but I stand up for the rights of all citizens."Click here (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=410299&in_page_id=1770&ico=Homepage&icl=TabModule&icc=NEWS&ct=5) for the full story.

Interesting follow-up story:IN another sign of predictable cultural capitulation, a check-in employee with British Airways is banned from wearing a small Christian cross but Muslim and Sikh employees may wear turbans and the hijab. Little wonder, then, that Munira Mirza is so refreshing. This young woman, reared as a Muslim, says it's time to scrap multiculturalism and to stop defining people as members of a minority group. Specifically, it's time for our political leaders to stop engaging with Muslims as Muslims. They are citizens; no special rules apply.Click here (http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,20867,20599335-32522,00.html) for the full story.
