Here's an interesting list I received from a friend:

The majority of people in the following groups support and will vote for John Kerry in November!

1. The Communist Party. Why? To keep George Bush out of office. www.CPUSA.org
See "Top Ten Reasons to Defeat Bush"on their homepage.
2. The Criminal. Why? John Kerry is soft on criminals always has been and is against the death penalty.
3. The Abortionist. Why? John Kerry is "Pro Choice," i.e. Pro Death, Pro Abortion, anti-life of the baby in the womb.
Interesting he will kill innocent children but not the criminal!
4. The Atheist. Why? John Kerry opposes legislation to keep God in schools/government.
5. The Homosexual. Why? John Kerry supports their agenda.
6. The Porn Industry. Why? John Kerry is very soft on porn, calling it "free speech."
7. The Anti-Military. Why? John Kerry’s record speaks for itself. He is a traitor! He's still bad-mouthing our military, thirty years after Vietnam!
8. The Welfare Recipient. Why? John Kerry is for more welfare and bigger government. He's a socialist.
9. The Financially Rich. Why? Neither John Kerry nor his wife pays their fair share of taxes. The really wealthy have all sorts of loopholes.
10. The Trial Lawyer. Why? John Kerry and trial lawyer, John Edwards, support more lawsuits and trials, escalating our insurance and medical costs.
11. The Medicare Recipient. Why? John Kerry lies boldfaced and uses scare tactics to get the elderly to vote for him.
12. The Uniformed Christian. Why? I don’t know. Somebody please tell me! Maybe they've never read the Bible. Maybe it's not preached in their churches....

Perspective: Communist Party USA supports John Kerry
by D.P. HEIMBOLD
St. Augustine, FL

The southern Democrats must be thrilled by the news that the Communist Party of The United States of America, CPUSA, is publicly supporting the election of John Kerry.
The CPUSA has made available on its Web site, www.cpusa.org, an advertisement entitled Top Ten Reasons To Defeat Bush. This advertisement can be downloaded. The communist party urges readers to place this ad in local newspapers throughout the country to defeat President Bush.

Remarkably, the "Top Ten Reasons" of the Communist party are identical to those of the Democratic party; out-sourcing, homosexual rights, abortion and the like.

At first, I thought "this is only a coincidence." The Democratic party of the United States couldn't be in lock step with the Marxists! So, I wrote to a spokesman of the CPUSA in Georgia and here is part of his letter:

" The CPUSA supports the John Kerry campaign with donations and volunteer effort. We believe that defeating George Bush is the single most important issue this November ..."

Next, I discovered that one of Kerry's campaign themes is " Let America be America Again." This slogan was borrowed from a Communist poet, Langston Hughes. This is not common knowledge to the average American.

"Let America be America Again" sounds good but is a rambling, gloomy poem. Interestingly, another poem by Langston goes as follows;

"Goodbye, Christ Jesus, Lord, God, Jehova, Beat it on away from here now.

Make way for a new guy with no religion at all -- A real guy named Marx, communist, Lenin, Peasant, Stalin, Worker, ME -- I said, ME!"

Then, if this was not enough to convince me that the Democratic party has lost it, a third discovery!

A Vietnam vet group took a trip to Communist Hanoi to investigate a report that John Kerry was in the "Hanoi Hall of Fame." Yes, there is a museum in Hanoi with a section dedicated to foreign activists who help defeat the United States Military in Vietnam. Of course, you would expect Jane Fonda's picture to be there. But, alas, there is John Kerry's picture shaking the hand of a communist official.

Never has there been such a tragedy.

Never has there been such a threat to America. The Democratic party has been taken over by the far, far left!

Not only the communists but the homosexual activists who are appalled that George Bush is married to a woman! They are enraged that the president wants a constitutional amendment to protect traditional marriage between a man and woman.

Then we have the ACLU running to a federal activist judge with every piece of legislation that doesn't fit into their leftist agenda. They support every Democratic socialist whim. The removal of the Ten Commandments is their top priority!

Why can't our children read? The liberal NEA runs the government schools. You can't mention God or the Ten Commandments, but you can teach Islam and have the children pray to Allah and pass out condoms. The teachers union is solidly behind the Democratic candidate, John Kerry.

How about the AFL-CIO? Solidly Democratic. How about the press? Solidly behind the left.

Case in point: Viacom owns CBS and Dan Rather. Dan is really the president of the American Leftist Establishment. Every night Dan informs the country what we, the troops and the president did wrong that day. His boss, Viacom, just happens to own the company that published Richard Clark's attack on George Bush and company. Clarke was the hero of the 9-11 hearing. Viacom pushed up the publication date of Clark's book to coincide with the hearings.

Oh, by the way, Viacom not only owns CBS and Dan Rather, but MTV!

Yes, the same MTV that featured Janet Jackson's breast at the Super Bowl half time!

Hollywood? There might be one or two votes for Bush from the filmmakers. But don't count on it. Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11" propaganda film hurt the president. Impressionable youth fall victim to lies.

But, not to worry.

Truth means nothing to the Left.

The quality of character of the Hollywood crowd is best illustrated by the recent antics of the starlet Britney Spears. After her 24-hour marriage, Britney is now engaged to a loser who left his unmarried, pregnant girlfriend and little child. There was not one eyebrow raised by the Hollywood-infatuated Network News. This is normal behavior for the left.

The deck is really stacked against the re-election of President Bush.

Now even the mass murderer Saddam Hussein agrees with Kennedy and Kerry that the president is a criminal. Before the election in November the press will clean up Hussein to look like a saint and George W. Bush a gangster.

John Kerry promises to save the union by going to the UN. Kerry may have to deal with Muslim Kofi Annan's son, Kojo, who received "consultant" fees from Swiss company, Cotecna, which oversaw Iraq's Oil-For-Food program. Some of the $10 billion that was funneled through the "family run" UN program ended up in al Taqwa and Asat Trust, two of al-Qaida's front organizations. Funny, there are al-Qaida in Florida and the UN, but not in Iraq! Alas, but who is chopping off heads in Iraq?

While the bulk of our National Guard are over seas fighting terrorist, every leftist weirdo is coming out of the closet to hi-jack the November presidential election.

The question is: What are the "real" southern Democrats going to do?

Will they join the CPUSA, NEA, ACLU and a host of other radical leftist groups? ...or help save the country from this mob?

I agree. It has been impossible for me to tell the difference between a democrat and a communist for quite some time. The agenda is almost identical.

Tom, wow, we are going to agree on something political!

But here is where we will diverge, as well. At the national level, the Republicans are indistinguishable from the Democrats.

Local level may well be different. But not at the national level.

How in the world can you say that Clint? The platforms on the national level could not be more dissimiliar. They clash at every major point including but not limited to abortion ,the 2nd Amendment and homosexual rights.

government has grown larger in last 4 years than in previous gazillion.

more rights are withheld and trampled upon than ever.

How many less abortions took place in the last four years than if Gore had one?

C'mon Tom, don't look at what they say, look at what they do.

There isn't a hair's breadth of difference.

Government has grown larger in terms of intelligence and national security. It had to the state of afairs at this time requires it. What rights in particular are you referring to being trampled? Is it the Patriot Act? The Constitution shouldn't apply to non-citizens anyway. The Patriot Act hasn't affected any of my activities, except of course to possibly help prevent other terrorist acts which could definitely hamper my abiity to live as I like.

George Bush signed into law a bill banning partial birth abortion. Gore would never have done that, in fact Gore's boss Slick Willy Clinton vetoed one. In regard to the whole abortion issue we must realize it is a Supreme Court problem not a presidential problem. The next president will appoint Supreme Court Justice/s. I know what kind Bush will appoint and I know what kind Kerry would appoint and so do you. Tell me which kind would you prefer?

C'mon Tom, don't look at what they say, look at what they do.

There is a huge difference. I don't like everything about George Bush but I hate the entirety of the democrat agenda. I think their party would be more aptly named the God haters. The Supreme Court nominations alone are reason enough for a Christian to vote for Bush. If you want to waste your vote on a no name that has no chance of winning go ahead, it's your vote.

It is my vote and I wasted it in 2000 on Bush. I have voted this year for someone I view as being the best man for the job. I will sleep just fine at night knowing that Peroutka got my vote. And my vote will be no more wasted than anyone who votes for someone who doesn't win.

BTW, I threw you a bone in the other thread that is discussing politics up in the religion section. :D

I don't have enough time to get into any deeper discussion on this. I have spent too much as it is and have lots of school work to get done. Suffice it to say that there are several sites out there that do a great job of critiquing the Republican agenda. Here is one. (http://www.daveblackonline.com/)

Thats enough from me for now.

I would have to agree that there is a rather large difference between both Republicans and Democrats, and between Kerry and Bush.

This is just a generality but I think you will find it is pretty true. Most Democrats don't believe in set standards of right and wrong. They beleive that the standards of morality are set by the whatever the majority says it is. Most Republicans do not believe this, but rather think there is an unchanging standard by which to judge right and wrong, good and evil.

I find this to be true of both candidates too. Bush says there is good and evil, right and wrong, and believes there is a standard by which these concepts can be recognized. Kerry doesn't believe that. Clinton doesn't beleive that either. That's why Kerry would govern just like Clinton did, by poll with a constantly shifting set of priorities and standards. Both Clinton and Kerry can't be trusted to do anything that they say they will or they won't do, for their standards are based in the shifting sands of public opinion--a very dangerous place to look for something solid, substantial, and lasting. The first storm of trouble that comes along any previous standard goes out the window to be replaced by whatever is politically expedient at that time.

That is NOT what I want in a leader. In fact someone who beleives such as Kerry does in this matter can't be a leader, he can only be a follower, for he follows whereever public opinion leads. He can't act, he can only react.

Hi guys -

If you think our president can be trusted, you are badly mislead. He ignored the UN inspectors that no WMD could be found. He ignored the advise of the major world leaders, as well as the UN, who did not believe Iraq should be attacked, except Britain and Spain. [The latter already pulling out of Iraq].

He was the first president in our history to engage us in a preemptive war with another country - who never as much as attacked us.

Our enemy who struck us in the 9/11 attack is the Al Quaida! Not Saddam! They are not weaker today - but unfortunately ten times stronger than ever!

He is the first president in history to commit us to war and effect a huge tax cut in war time! Brilliant!

He committed our military to a war with vastly insufficient numbers to effectively win it as well as the peace afterwards. He has no plan at all to withdraw now that we are stuck there, while he thinks there is going to bre a democratic government established in an Islamic nation. Don't hold your breath!

Our military personnel were improperly equiped with insufficient armor, causing the men within them to be killed or maimed when they run over the explosives left by the insurgents. Nor were they equiped with sufficient communications equipment to effectively engage in their patrols. I have a grandson over there right now, in a second round, in that very exposure!

The effect of the attack on the Islamic nation of Iraq has given every Islamic nation a chance to come across the borders to attack our military personnel and harrass them, kill them and destroy the millions of taxpayer dollars put into the restoration of the Iraqi infrastructure. That our president keeps telling us things are getting better - they are not! They are getting ten times worse than before we ever got involved in Iraq.

It has cost us about 1,100 killed and countless more wounded because of committing us to a completely needless war! Iraq was no threat whatsoever! What were they going to attack us with - mud bricks?

The reprisals of OPEC because of our position against an Islamic nation has resulted in the highest oil prices in history. Watch the air lines and trucking industry and every business that requires the use of vehicles or of oil products of any kind go bankrupt like you have never witnessed before! Our country is going to suffer from the blunders made for many years to come because of the actions of this president! Every American is already suffering because of them!

John Kerry is the man with the military experience because he has been there and been in combat. Our president has not! The experience and trust are without a doubt in the corner with Mr. Kerry.

Anyone who harbors ideas of being able to trust Mr. Bush with the past four year history he has already shown us, is truly the epitome of ignorance!

A former WW2 Vet with two years overseas duty in the Pacific with the Army Air Corps!

I am Quasar, and I approve this message! :D

In my opinion, the Democratic party has been hijacked by the likes of Michael Moore, Jesse Jackson, the leftist Hollywood and media elite. The next Democratic candidate would do well to distance themself from these wackos in 2008.
