Mel felt lead by the H.S. to make this film. I do think that God was behind it and had a reason for it. I don't know if we will ever know the whole reason but I wonder if it is not grace before judgement. I pray not but I would not be surprised.
I also wondered if this was a sign of the end times....

hi :).... could you help me out here please? Because of spending reading time also in many other christian cyberforums I might be getting my impression confused. Was it not here in this TheologyReview a discussion thread up and going with at least three pages of talk on the MelGibson film release of the Passion of Christ?
If this Forum has already started the thread it is defeating purpose of continuum and order to start yet again the same topic.
....but I don't know where that thread is if it really is on this TR forum.
....I'll go look but wish others would tell me if they already know.
thanks,
Eurogal

Hello from Eurogal. I noticed someone calling you Barry instead of using your moniker of Cop4Christ. I rather ask you for permission before I use you real name. May I?
Eveningstar by the way, Barry, is on my ignore list. I am needing an answer to my question I posted in this thread and I see he answered twice. Him being on 'ignore' mode gives me only the name of his having posted something. The content of the message is hidden.
Barry, if he is not saying anything that is propoganda for Mormonism, if he is not putting some BookOfMormon quote up in the message, if he is avoiding chauvanistical wording to down women to a position of stupidity, I would put him off my ignore list.
However, he at present is on my ignore list and out of principle I will not open any of his messages until.... welll,.... until he promises not to push mormomism, until he thanks me for being kind to him and sending a nice PM with bithday greetings to him, and until he proclaims why the Mormon church will not baptized him into membership. Or why the Church of God took him off of their membership rolls.
Oddly enough I have no hard feelings to ES. I sort of like him because he is honoring some of the christian values I hold to.
I must protect myself from false teachings, false prophets, deceit and control freaks of my being when online.
Barry, did it the ES, actually find the threads already dealing with The Passion movie? or is he posting something that would annoy me or someone else?

If you are going to ignore me, please just do so, do not make it a public affair or claimant of your veracity as a witness for Christ when you are "ignoring" me in future posts. Because what you are doing is NOT ignoring me, but insulting me and insinuating that because you are ignoring me, I ought to be rejected by the "Church of God," as if you had any more authority to judge than those of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who actually take upon themselves the Name of Christ and not just "God."
I've never pushed Mormonism and I do not believe in Mormonism. I actually know they err more often than Israel ever did in doctrine.
I only believe in the Scripture that is the Book of Mormon.
As for being baptised, Mormon baptism holds more authority than any other church baptism, I believe, but only because of Christ and not the men baptising or the fact that they are "Mormons." Mormons are Christians.
Lastly, I'm not a male chauvinist, I believe in the order God has given for His Church, Christ the Head, then Man, then Woman...It's Spiritual not chauvinistic in its inperpretation, understanding and result.
